Windy Spring-like days just mean that Summer isn't that far away

Hey, hey!
Well, lately the sweet breeze and (not far from) Summer heat has tended to vanish... We're back to our sunny, yet windy Spring-like days. Sure, the weather is cooler but the beginning of Spring simply means Summer isn't that far away...

I don't know I've the only that notices weird seasonal things, but... new bubblegum flavours (have you tried Trident Senses' new flavour? Lemon.... so fresh, I love it!), new scents, new feelings (meaning people are or seem happier), new vibes and the need to listen to certain songs have appeared since the beginning of what might be called Spring. Things run smoothly and the air seems fresher... I personally love the Spring time, it's not too hot nor too cold and, besides, I LOVE flowers and the happy look on people's faces.

Oh and I almost forgot... another fabulous thing about spring is how stylish people look! It's not too hot to wear jackets, but it's not too cold to wear t-shirts and skirts. How amazing is those that make this season? I adore it.

I'll leave you with some songs that remind me of Spring-Summer and have great, relaxing vibes.

Success! - Editorial I - Womenswear - "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself"

Hey hey!
As I had previously mentioned, I've taken on a styling course. My last homework was to do a Home-made Editorial and, as expected, I was beyond excited. I think it turned out amazingly well and my teacher said it was the best in class, I named it "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself". Check it out and give me some feedback if you want to!

Obsessions...

Hey hey dear follower!
I've been a bit absent lately, I know... but these past few weeks were all about working, working and working. I'm still in highschool (yeah, it sucks!), so I really need to focus on my marks and on going to college.

But moving on to more exciting subjects...
I've found my two new obsessions: the 60's (specially the whole hippie scene from the late 60's and the Woodstock Festival and, of course, Jean Shrimpton - I'm sooo in love with her) and Frida Gustavsson (gorgeous model). Oh yeah, I'm totally obsessed with the new DKNY collection (the one with all the floral patterns), the 505 - Particuliére Chanel nail polish (I've got it obviously! but I've hidden it, so that no one dares to use it without my permition) and these AMAZING Prada bags I saw on the window of Fashion Clinic... not to mention the newest Christian Louboutin shoe collection (yummy and divine, all at the same time).
I'll leave you with some photos of Jean and Frida, my two new favourites girls.

Makeover I - Menswear

First, hey hey dear follower! Just an update and first release on one of my homework assignments from my most exciting project so far.

I'm currently taking a professional styling course and, besides being reeeally excited about the whole thing, I simply LOVE my homework assignments. My homework (which is due tomorrow, Saturday, the 10th of April) was to do a makeover to one of my friends. Initially, I thought "None of my male friend need a makeover..." but then I realized I could use that in my advantage. Which led me to this idea... I chose a really cool friend with good measurements and headed out to one of my parents' friends showroom to choose some fresh, interesting clothes.
Firstly, I thought about a friend called Francisco Berberan, who is actually a model (ok, he's 2cm away from being able to work in big fashion shows, but he's really cute, has a great sense of style and is really intelligent... what else can a girl ask for? besides, his soon-to-be girlfriend is stylish as hell, so I could ask her to assist me and give me a hand) and a DJ (http://www.myspace.com/soundshapemusic) but he was really busy working and wasn't able to come (yeah, he's a working boy too... life's hard these days, and, if you want to be stylish, you gotta have money to spend).
Therefore, I talked to one of my greatest friends António Carvalho e Castro (one of the authors of this blog, as well), to be by model. António, alongside my best friend (keep reading and you'll find out who he is) are two of the most stylish young men I've met. And not only do they always look good, but they also know a LOT about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. It's unbelievable, really. They're smart, intelligent and fashion-wise (does that word exist?). I also asked my best friend, Zé Maria Salgado (the third author of this blog), to be my photographer. As I said, he's really cool and takes really nice photos.

Are you smart or stupid?

I'm stupid for sure. What about you?

The Art of Doing (Almost) Absolutely Nothing

Hey hey dear reader. Welcome to the newest, freshest, most amazing blog in the whole world. The name's weird, the image has nothing to do with sheeps (oh yeah, Ovelha Popstar means Popstar Sheep) and the colours are waaay too bright but who cares? Let's just focus on having fun and drinking cocktails. I mean... that's what Spring Break is all about, don't you agree? Well, at least for me it does.
What have I been up to? Basically... doing nothing and thinking about what I should do next. Ok, I must confess I've done some work and taken care of some pending issues. I spent one week partying and being out of control but this week, I decided to take care of myself, get some work done and stroll around some shops in order to think about I'm going to buy for the new season.
Shirts, dresses, shorts, shoes, shoes, shoes, sandals, sandals, sandals. Yum, I want them all. Books, music and concerts. Yeah, count me in.
This holiday season has been one heck of a ride... fun and boring, safe and dangerous. But hey, how can you not love the holidays?
One thing I've done for sure is to become a master in the art of doing (almost) nothing.

xoxo, let's keep on partying!
